The Quiet Room® label is a certificate for quiet hotel rooms. Hotels that already have quiet rooms can request for a certificate. The QR label offers guests the guarantee that they will get a well-insulated room.
No. The Quiet Room® label is based on measurements of the sound insulation of individual rooms. Hotels can decide for themselves how many rooms they want to have certified. A label therefore applies to at least one room.
This is not necessary. Noise in hotel rooms is often separate from guests in adjacent rooms, from cooling systems, kitchens or other hotel facilities. Only with special soundproofing measures do hotel rooms become truly quieter.
Hotels with the Quiet Room® label usually have a plaque with the Quiet Room® logo at the entrance and a certificate at the reception. They also advertise with the label and can be found on the internet by searching for Quiet Room label.
You don't have that guarantee. Although five-star hotels often do more to soundproof than two-, three- or four-star hotels, you can still be bothered by noise from adjacent rooms or from outside. Only with special soundproofing measures can hotel rooms really become quieter.
You are welcome to recommend a hotel with quiet rooms to us. We will then contact the hotel to see if it is interested in acquiring the Quiet Room® label. If so, we will perform a measurement and if this is positive, the hotel can obtain the Quiet Room® label.
