On 18 December, the Quiet Hotel Awards 2024 were presented. This joyful event marks a new milestone, because there are now more than 100 hotels in the Netherlands and Europe that have the Quiet Room® label. This makes it clear that the QR label is becoming increasingly popular and that hotels understand that they have to respond to the increasing demand for quiet hotel rooms. Quiet Room® Design & Build Total Concept
There is a growing demand, not only for the QR label but also for the necessary sound insulation with which hotel rooms meet the QR standards. However, many hotels shy away from a lengthy process of research, renovation, insulation and certification. The rooms in question are then out of operation and that costs the hotels turnover. In response to this, the Knowledge Centre for Sound Insulation has developed a unique new concept together with its knowledge partners: the Quiet Room® Design & Build Total Concept. This allows all necessary insulation work to be carried out quickly and in one go, and hotel rooms are also certified immediately.
Licentieprogramma
Vanwege de grote belangstelling voor het Quiet Room® label buiten Nederland, heeft de stichting Quietroom nu ook een licentiemodel ontwikkeld. De doelstelling is om per land een of meerdere licentiehouders aan te wijzen die de keuringen en akoestische aanpassingen voor het QR-label kunnen verzorgen. De stichting zal toezien op de kwaliteit van de keuringen en verzorgt de marketing en publiciteit.
